Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd. will revise the selling prices of its silicone products in Japan and globally.
The decision follows sharp increases in crude oil and naphtha prices driven by recent Middle East developments. Costs for manufacturing energy, containers, packaging materials, and logistics have also risen significantly.
A price increase of 10% or more for all silicone products will apply to shipments from May 1, 2026.
